In November 2011, Daimler AG announced that it would cease production of the Maybach brand, including the Maybach 57 LWB, due to poor sales and significant financial losses. This decision marked the end of the Maybach era, with the last car rolling off the production line in December 2012. I think this was a wise decision given the economic climate and the brands struggles.
