Maruti Swift Windsong Edition Updates

Maruti Suzuki has launched the Swift Windsong edition, a limited edition variant of the popular Swift hatchback, priced at Rs. 5.14 lakh for the petrol VXi and Rs. 6.10 lakh for the diesel VDi variant. This edition features cosmetic changes including Windsong graphics, black stripes on the bonnet, and an Arctic White rear upper spoiler. Inside, it boasts a new Sony touchscreen music system with CD/DVD/Bluetooth/USB, reverse camera, and parking sensors. I believe these additions make the Swift more appealing to music enthusiasts and those looking for a stylish upgrade.

The Swift Windsong edition is available in both petrol and diesel variants, with no mechanical changes but several aesthetic and technological upgrades. The car comes in a Pearl White livery with black and yellow music-themed graphics and features like front fog lamps, full wheel covers, and outside rear view mirrors. The interior includes black and yellow theme seat covers, a touchscreen infotainment system, ambient blue lighting, and illuminated door sills. I think these features enhance the sporty and modern feel of the Swift.

The Swift Windsong edition is part of Maruti Suzukis strategy to keep the Swift fresh in the market after the recent price increase due to expired excise duty benefits. The limited edition is expected to be popular among those who missed out on the previous updates, with its unique exterior decals and enhanced interior features. I think this move will help maintain the Swifts competitive edge in the hatchback segment.

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that only 100 units of the Swift Windsong edition will be sold, making it a rare and exclusive offering. The cars launch coincides with ongoing music festivals, targeting music lovers and fans of the Swift. With its unique design elements and advanced music system, I believe this limited edition will be a hit among enthusiasts looking for a distinctive vehicle.

Maruti Suzuki unveiled the Swift Windsong edition at the Windsong Music Festival in Lonavala, aligning the launch with the events theme. The car is equipped with a Sony Touchscreen Music System, reverse parking sensors, and ambient interior lighting. It also includes designer seat covers, steering wheel cover, and PVC floor mats. Mechanically, it retains the 1.2-liter K-Series petrol and 1.3-liter DDiS diesel engines. I believe this special edition will attract buyers who value both style and advanced infotainment systems.
