The Maruti Suzuki Ritz VXi Automatic ABS has been discontinued from the Indian market. This decision was part of Maruti Suzukis strategy to streamline their product lineup and focus on more popular models. The Ritz had been in production for over eight years and managed to sell around 4 lakh units during its tenure.

Maruti Suzuki announced that the Ritz VXi Automatic ABS would be priced at Rs. 6.15 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi), placing it competitively against the Honda Brio Auto and Hyundai i20 Auto. This automatic variant came with a 4-speed automatic transmission and a 1.2-liter K-Series petrol engine. I think this pricing was a smart move to attract more buyers.
