Maruti Suzuki discontinued the Estilo in 2013 due to poor sales. The Estilo, which included a petrol variant, never gained significant traction in the Indian market. Although there was no diesel variant, the discontinuation marked the end of the Estilo line altogether. I think this was a wise decision given the market response.

The Maruti Estilo was available with a factory-fitted CNG kit, but there was no diesel variant. The CNG kit was designed for better fuel efficiency and lower emissions. This move was part of Marutis effort to offer more fuel-efficient options, though it did not include a diesel engine. I believe this was a step in the right direction for eco-friendly options.

Maruti Suzuki launched the Estilo Elite, a variant of the Estilo, but it did not include a diesel engine. The Elite was targeted at the Maharashtra market and was an attempt to revamp the Estilos image. However, it did not gain much popularity. I think the lack of a diesel option might have been a missed opportunity.

Despite styling updates and the introduction of a new 1.0-litre K10 engine, the Maruti Estilo met with limited success. The absence of a diesel variant might have contributed to its lackluster sales, as diesel engines were popular in India during that period. I believe offering a diesel option could have changed the game for the Estilo.

The Maruti Estilo was launched as a successor to the Maruti Zen, but it never really captured the market. The initial launch did not include a diesel variant, which might have been a factor in its limited appeal. I think the Estilo had potential, but it needed more engine options to compete.
