The Mahindra Xylo D4 BS IV had a claimed mileage of 13.9 kmpl and came with a 2489cc diesel engine producing 96PS of power and 220Nm of torque. It was known for its fuel efficiency and spacious interior. I believe the mileage was one of its strong points.

The Mahindra Xylo D4 was initially launched with a 2.5L XD3TE CRDe engine, generating 93.7bhp and offering a fuel economy of 14.95 kmpl. It was part of the vehicles initial lineup when it was launched in 2009. I believe the initial launch set a good foundation for the model.
