Latest Updates
Saturday, 21 September 2024 08:26 PM The Mahindra XUV500, which was previously discontinued, is speculated to make a comeback in the Indian market in a new avatar. The upcoming model is expected to be smaller, measuring 4.2 to 4.3 meters in length, and will be positioned as a 5-seater SUV to compete with the Hyundai Creta and Kia Celtos. It will likely come with a 1.5-liter turbo diesel engine and a 1.2-liter direct injection turbo petrol engine, paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions. I believe this new size and engine options will make it more appealing to the mid-size SUV segment.
Tuesday, 09 May 2023 08:13 PM Mahindra has been working on revamping the XUV500 to fit between the XUV300 and XUV700 in their lineup. The new model is expected to feature a sportier design with LED projector headlights, a blacked-out chrome grille, and updated front and rear bumpers. Inside, it will have premium soft-touch materials, a dual-tone dashboard, and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster along with a 10.25-inch infotainment system. I think the enhanced design and tech features will significantly boost its market appeal.
Wednesday, 18 April 2018 11:00 AM In its previous iteration, the Mahindra XUV500 4x2 W10 (Automatic) Diesel was known for its powerful mHawk 2.2-liter diesel engine, producing 140 BHP at 3750 rpm and 330 Nm of torque at 1600-2800 rpm. It also featured a 6-speed automatic transmission and had a fuel tank capacity of 70 liters. The vehicle was praised for its fuel efficiency, with an ARAI certified mileage of 15.1 kmpl. I believe the combination of power and fuel efficiency made it a strong contender in the SUV market.
Thursday, 16 April 2015 12:54 PM Mahindra had introduced a 6-speed automatic transmission option for the XUV500 W10 variant, which was a significant upgrade for those seeking convenience and ease of driving. This automatic transmission was part of the efforts to enhance the vehicles appeal in the competitive SUV market. I believe this addition helped in attracting more buyers who preferred automatics over manual transmissions.

I think these features contributed to its popularity as a safe and comfortable family vehicle.
