Mahindra has confirmed that the BE.05 will be powered by an inhouse-developed INGLO skateboard platform with motors borrowed from Volkswagen. The vehicle will offer two battery options: a 60 kWh pack and a 79 kWh pack, with the latter providing an estimated range of 450 km (WLTP). Fast charging capabilities will allow the 79 kWh battery to charge from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes.

The INGLO platform, which will underpin the BE.05, is designed to be versatile and scalable, supporting vehicles between 4.3 meters and 5 meters in length. It features wheels positioned at the corners and a flat battery pack in the floorboard, ensuring generous legroom for rear passengers. The platform supports both Blade and Prismatic battery packs and fast charging up to 175 kW. I believe this platform will be a game-changer for Mahindras EV lineup.
