Hyundai i10 Brilliant Updates

The Hyundai i10 has been named the City Car of the Year for the second consecutive year by AutoExpress, highlighting its excellence in the urban car market. This award underscores its practicality, premium feel, and enjoyable driving experience. I think this recognition is well-deserved, given the i10s impressive features and thoughtful design.

Hyundai has introduced advanced connectivity features and comfort elements in the new i10, making it more competitive in its class. The car now includes a standard 4.2-inch LCD cluster, USB type-C ports, and Over The Air (OTA) map updates. I believe these updates will significantly enhance the driving experience.

The Hyundai i10 offers a range of engine options, including a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with 66 or 99 horsepower, and a 1.2-litre four-cylinder engine with 78 horsepower. The car is available with both manual and automatic transmissions, with the manual gearbox being more suitable for its driving characteristics.

The new Hyundai i10 is equipped with several safety features, including Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Rear Occupant Alert. These features are part of Hyundais Smart Sense safety package, which is standard across all trim levels. I think these safety features are a significant selling point for the i10.

The 2024 Hyundai i10 boasts a refreshed design with a sportier stance, featuring a new honeycomb mesh front grille and redesigned LED Day Running Lights integrated into the front grille. The car also comes in new exterior colors, including Lumen Grey and Meta Blue. The design upgrades give it a bolder and more modern look.

The 2024 Hyundai i10 has a spacious and family-friendly interior, with a boot capacity of 252 litres and up to 1,050 litres with the seats folded. The car also features practical elements like power folding mirrors, a two-stage luggage board, and a rear-view camera. I believe this makes it an excellent choice for urban families.

The Hyundai i10 N Line variant is inspired by Hyundais high-performance N models, featuring bespoke bumpers, inserts, and red touches. It also comes with unique styling elements and a more powerful turbocharged 1.0-litre engine. This variant adds a sporty edge to the i10s design and performance.

The Hyundai i10s infotainment system is highly praised for its ease of use and responsiveness, featuring an 8-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The system also includes a sat-nav app and supports wireless smartphone mirroring. I think this makes the i10s infotainment one of the best in its class.

Hyundai has reaffirmed its commitment to the city car segment with the third generation of the i10, which is billed as the most hi-tech city car ever. The new i10 has seen significant upgrades since its launch in 2019, making it a strong contender in the market.

Hyundai has emphasized the i10s practicality and comfort, with features like automatic headlights, cruise control, air conditioning, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel available even in the entry-level Advance trim. The car also offers a wireless charging pad and heated seats in higher trims.
