Hyundai Creta SX Plus Automatic Updates

The 2024 Hyundai Creta SX Plus Diesel Automatic has been praised for its enhanced noise insulation, making the cabin significantly quieter. The heavier doors and hood also contribute to this improvement. I think this is a great step towards providing a more comfortable driving experience.

Hyundai has introduced the SX Plus Diesel Special Edition of the Creta, priced at Rs 16.24 lakh ex-showroom. This variant comes with a 1.6 CRDi VGT diesel engine, producing 126 bhp and 260 Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. The special edition features include automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, and a touch screen audio video navigation system.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta SX Plus Automatic boasts advanced safety features such as six airbags, ABS, EBD, and a rear parking camera. Additionally, it includes a 360-degree camera and ADAS, enhancing safety and convenience. I believe these features make it a strong contender in the compact SUV segment.

The Creta SX Plus Diesel Automatic comes with a panoramic sunroof, which, although a desirable feature, can lead to significant heat transfer into the cabin. To address this, some owners have installed sunfilms on the sunroof. This is a practical solution for Indian climate conditions.

The vehicle features drive modes including ECO, NORMAL, and SPORT, which adjust the powertrain response and steering feel. However, some users find the normal mode too restrained and prefer the sport mode for a more responsive drive. I think having customizable drive modes would be a great addition.

Hyundai has improved the suspension setup of the 2024 Creta, making it more sophisticated and comfortable, especially over poor road conditions. The stiffer chassis also plays a significant role in reducing noise and vibration levels. This is a welcome change for Indian roads.

The Creta SX Plus Automatic is equipped with powered front seats, ventilated seats, and a height-adjustable driver seat, enhancing comfort. It also features a cooled glovebox, voice commands, and paddle shifters for added convenience. I think these features make the Creta a comfortable choice for daily driving.

The auto hold feature in the Creta SX Plus Diesel Automatic is highly useful, but the start/stop feature can be irritating as it cuts off the air conditioning, making it unbearable in hot and humid conditions. This is something Hyundai might need to address in future updates.

The 2024 Hyundai Creta SX Plus Diesel Automatic has a fuel efficiency of 19.67 km/l, making it a viable option for those looking for a balance between performance and fuel economy. The 55-liter fuel tank capacity also adds to its practicality.

Hyundai has launched the Knight edition of the Creta, which includes the SX Plus variant. This edition features all-black styling elements and an all-black interior theme, giving the vehicle a sleek and modern look. I think this aesthetic update will appeal to many buyers.
