Hyundai Creta Knight Edition, the closest to an Adventure Edition, has been launched with a focus on an all-black theme. The Knight Edition is available in S(O) and SX(O) variants, priced from Rs 14.51 lakh to Rs 20.15 lakh, ex-showroom. It features blacked-out cosmetic detailing, including a matte black Hyundai logo, 17-inch alloy wheels, and red brake calipers. The interior also follows an all-black theme with brass-coloured inserts. I think this edition adds a sleek and aggressive look to the Creta lineup.

The Hyundai Creta Knight Edition comes with two engine options: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 113 bhp and a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 114 bhp. Both engines are available with manual and automatic transmissions. The absence of the turbo-petrol engine in this edition might be a letdown for some, but the existing options should suffice for most buyers.

In terms of features, the Creta Knight Edition includes six airbags, ISOFIX mounts, rear disc brakes, auto headlights, a 360-degree camera, and level-2 ADAS features. The interior features black leatherette upholstery with brass stitching and metal pedals, enhancing the sporty feel. I believe these features make the Knight Edition a compelling choice for those seeking both style and safety.

The Creta Knight Edition competes directly with other popular compact SUVs in India, such as the Kia Seltos, VW Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. Its unique design and feature set are expected to help it stand out in a crowded market. I think the Knight Edition has a good chance of attracting buyers who prefer a bold, all-black SUV.
