The Honda Elevate Black Edition and Signature Black Edition have been launched in India, priced between Rs 15.51 lakh and Rs 16.93 lakh (ex-showroom). These special editions feature a new black exterior paint job, all-black interiors, and gloss black accents. The vehicles come with the same features as the standard Elevate, including LED projector headlights, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a semi-analogue instrument cluster. I think the all-black theme gives the Elevate a sleek and modern look.

The Honda Elevate Black Edition has started arriving at dealerships ahead of its official launch. This special edition is based on the top-spec ZX variant and includes visual changes such as a Crystal Black Pearl exterior, gloss black alloy wheels, and a chunky silver door cladding. The powertrain and features remain unchanged from the standard model. I believe these cosmetic updates will attract buyers looking for a unique SUV.

Honda is set to launch the Elevate Black Edition this month, ahead of the Auto Expo. The special edition will come in two variants: Black and Signature Black. The Black Edition features a chrome grille garnish and silver inserts on the roof rails, while the Signature Black Edition has an all-black front grille, black roof rails, and special badges. Both editions will have an all-black interior with leatherette seats and ambient lighting. I think the early launch is a strategic move to boost sales.

The Honda Elevate Black Edition has been spied in a production-ready avatar, indicating an imminent launch. Dealer sources suggest that the price announcement could happen by the end of January 2025. The Black Edition is expected to cost around Rs 75,000-80,000 more than the corresponding variant. It will feature an all-black exterior and interior theme but will remain mechanically unchanged. I believe the pricing strategy will be crucial in competing with rivals like the Creta Knight edition.

Honda plans to introduce the Elevate Black Edition to boost sales, as the midsize SUV has been averaging only 1,500 units a month. The new edition aims to add appeal to the vehicle, following the success of the Elevate Apex Edition. The Black Edition will feature multiple visual changes, including a new black exterior color and gloss black alloy wheels, but will retain the same powertrain and features as the top-spec ZX variant. I think this move could help Honda regain some market share in the competitive SUV segment.
