Hennessey Performance Engineering (HPE) is a Texas-based high-performance car tuning company. Founded in 1991 by John Hennessey, HPE has made it a goal to produce ultra-exclusive sports cars with unmatched performance and engineering.

The founder, John Hennessey, started his business in 1991 with a goal to make the fastest American sports car. He did this by designing and manufacturing his own high-performance engines. In 1994, he was able to accomplish this goal with his company’s first car, the Hennessey Venom 600.

In 2015, Hennessey unveiled its latest model, the Venom F5 - one of the fastest production cars ever made with a top speed of 270 mph (430 km/h). The company is also known for its collaborations with other manufacturers like BMW and Ford Motor Company to produce limited-edition models like the Hennessey VelociRaptor SUV.

John Hennessey is an American entrepreneur and philanthropist. In the early 1990s, Hennessey made a name for himself in the automotive industry with his race-winning vehicle modifications that gained global fame.

Pursuing his true passion, John left his small environmental business and focused his entrepreneurial skills on modifying and tuning high performance cars and trucks.
