Will Datsun Launch the Diesel Variant of 'GO' in India?

Yes, Datsun will launch the diesel trim of “GO” in India. But the hatches will go on sale next year, most probably.

The car will be priced under Rs. 4 Lakh and it comes with attractive features loaded in it. The B Segment hatch comes equipped with a 1461 cc diesel engine which delivers a max power of 64 bhp and a peak torque of 160 Nm. Its overall length is 3785 mm and its just 1485 mm high. Its a perfect 5 seater and the steering wheel is electrically powered.

When it comes to the braking system, it comes fitted with front disc and rear drum brakes, which offers an efficient braking system. The mighty cockpit comes paired to a 5-speed manual transmission gearbox, for an optimum performance.

Datsun GO comes with an effective air conditioner, which takes no time to cool the small cabin. Yes, it has tinted glass and the rear seats are foldable. The legroom offered at the back is sufficient and the interiors are nicely one with. The diesel trim will be priced around Rs.4.5 Lakh.
