Maruti Alto 800 VXi gets an ex-showroom price of Rs.3,17,000. The all new incarnated Maruti Alto 800 comes in seven variants and is being offered in 4 petrol and 3 CNG trims. The VXI variant is a high end one. It grabs in an advanced music system, which comes accompanied by 4 great quality speaker and also a USB support. Other aspects include power windows, central locking, full wheel covers and a standard driver side airbag. Under the hood, it powers a  796 cc engine that runs on petrol and delivers a peak torque of 69 Nm at the rate of 3500 rpm and a beating power of 47.5 bhp at mere 6000 rpm. The small hatch equally delivers good for petrol as well as CNG trims.

It is much spacious and much better than its preceding models. The wheelbase measures 2360 mm and can hold approximately 35 liters of fuel. The ground clearance stands at 160 mm and it weighs about 720 Kg. The safety features are not much and can be improved by adding ABS and EBD. But, it would also lift up the price tag of the car.
