General Motors have added a new base version to the series of its Cheverolet Sail U-VA diesel. The Ex-Showroom price of Sail U-VA PS is INR 5.29L which makes it INR 30,000 cheaper than its rival Maruti Suzuki Swift LDI model. This entry level Sail U-VA Diesel PS comes with basic features such as, front power windows, AC, tilt steering and fabric seats. It gets his power from 1.3-Liter Fiat sourced multi-jet turbocharged SMARTECH diesel engine which is paired with F17 gearbox.

It churns out the max power of 76.9bhp at 4000rpm and a peak torque of 205Nm at 1750rpm. Where as the fuel-economy is the concern, it returns 22.1kmpl which makes it most fuel-efficient car of its segment.
