Ever since its launch in 2005 Maruti Suzuki Swift has transformed into a ground breaking hatchback by ruling the hearts of several Indians. Maruti Swift is available in both petrol and diesel variants. The 1.2-litre, K-Series VVT petrol engine produces an impressive max power of 86bhp at 6000rpm and a max torque of 114 Nm at 4000rpm. The diesel version houses a 1.3-litre DDiS engine that generates 74bhp of max power at 4000rpm and max torque of 190Nm at 2000rpm. It comes equipped with very efficient ventilated disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear. The diesel engine offers a mileage of 22.9kmpl while petrol engine gives 18.6kmpl.
