What has been the effect of the Maruti Tour H3 on the livelihood of Indian taxi drivers?

I'm not so sure. The popularity of the Tour H3 has flooded the market with taxis, and it is getting increasingly difficult for drivers to make a living. It's a race to the bottom.
Is the Maruti Tour H3 just a WagonR rebadged for taxi fleets?
30 December 2024 09:07
Yes, it’s a rebadged WagonR, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. That's what the Tour H3 is, basically — Maruti's way of saying “Hey, this car is so good and reliable, even taxi drivers want it!” It's a smart business move.
Does the popularity of Maruti Tour H3 in taxi market affect its resale value?
30 December 2024 09:07
I believe it depends on the buyer. The proven reliability of WagonR in taxi fleets might make it a great deal for some people, and they might see it as a great deal in a used WagonR. For the same reason, others might avoid it.
Is the Maruti Tour H3 really a safer budget taxi than the competition, due to its popularity?
30 December 2024 09:07
Let’s be honest, it’s probably as safe as any other budget taxi. We just think it must be popular so that makes it safe. These taxi versions should really be upped in the safety game by Maruti.
Is Maruti Tour H3's dominance killing innovation in the budget taxi segment?
30 December 2024 09:07
Maruti isn't stupid. Behind the scenes they’re probably working on the next big thing. With the success of the Tour H3 they have the resources to innovate without having to rush half baked ideas to market.
