BMW India has launched the new BMW 7 Series 740d M Sport, priced at Rs. 1.81 crore (ex-showroom). This variant is locally produced at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai and features a 3.0-litre, six-cylinder diesel engine producing 286bhp and 650Nm of torque. The car also comes with a 48V mild-hybrid system and an eight-speed automatic transmission. I believe this addition will strengthen BMWs presence in the luxury sedan segment in India.

The BMW 740d M Sport boasts several advanced features, including LED DRLs with BMW Crystal lights and Swarovski crystals, an illuminated kidney grille, adaptive air suspension, and a 31.3-inch screen for the second-row occupants.
