The Qute was introduced by Bajaj at an ex-showroom price of Rs 2.48 lakh. It is available for both personal and professional use with both CNG and regular source of fuel. The Bajaj Qute, formerly the RE60, was the first quadricycle made in India. It is essentially a four-wheeled auto rickshaw that has a 2+2 seating arrangement, a hardtop roof, doors, and a steering wheel. A 216.6cc, liquid-cooled DTS-i engine that can run on petrol or compressed natural gas powers the Qute. It generates excellent 13.1PS/18.9Nm on petrol and 10.98PS/16.1Nm on compressed natural gas. It claims to have a fuel efficiency of 35kmpl for petrol and 43km/kg for CNG.

Thursday, 14 November 2024 06:32 AM Bajaj Auto has recently launched the Qute quadricycle in India, priced starting at Rs 2.48 lakh (ex-showroom Maharashtra), making it an affordable option for both personal and commercial use. The Qute is available in CNG and petrol variants and features a 216.6cc liquid-cooled engine. I believe this launch will significantly impact the Indian auto market, especially for those looking for an economical and efficient vehicle.
Saturday, 24 November 2018 04:43 PM The Bajaj Qute has been cleared by the Indian government to be used as a non-transport or passenger vehicle, following the insertion of Quadricycle as a category under the Motor Vehicles Act 1988. This move is expected to boost sales for Bajaj Auto, as the Qute can now be sold for personal use as well. I think this regulatory change will make the Qute a more attractive option for many buyers.
Friday, 07 September 2018 05:15 PM Bajaj Auto is expanding its production of three-wheelers and quadricycles to one million units per year, driven by the governments decision to abolish the permit regime for auto rickshaws powered by alternate fuels. This increase in production capacity is set to meet the growing demand for the Qute and other similar vehicles. I believe this expansion will help Bajaj Auto maintain its market lead in the segment.
Monday, 28 September 2015 11:57 AM The Bajaj Qute, Indias first quadricycle, has been spied testing multiple times, indicating its imminent launch. The vehicle was first showcased at the 2012 Auto Expo in Delhi and has been in development for several years. I think the Qutes unique design and fuel efficiency will make it a compelling choice for urban commuters.
Monday, 28 September 2015 06:10 AM Bajaj Auto has announced plans to export the Qute quadricycle to over 16 countries across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Europe, despite the initial uncertainty about its launch in India. This global expansion highlights the companys confidence in the Qutes appeal. I believe this international push will help Bajaj Auto establish a strong presence in the global quadricycle market.
