Yamaha R1M (2020) Updates

The 2020 Yamaha YZF-R1M features a significantly updated engine to comply with Euro 5 emissions regulations, including a new cylinder head, valves, cams, and throttle bodies. Despite the additions of four catalytic converters, the bike retains its peak power of 197bhp. The R1M boasts advanced suspension with Öhlins gas-charged NPX-EC forks and a TTX36 shock, both of which are semi-active. Yamaha has redesigned the fairing of the R1M to enhance aerodynamics, reducing wind resistance by 5.3% and providing better airflow control at high speeds. The new design also includes LED dual headlights, emphasizing the next-generation R design. I think the new fairing not only looks sleek but also provides a significant performance boost.

The 2020 Yamaha YZF-R1M includes several electronic control systems, such as Engine Brake Management (EBM) and Brake Control (BC), which support the rider according to their preferences and riding conditions.
