Yamaha Fascino 125 S Updates

The Yamaha Fascino S was recently launched in India, priced at Rs. 93,730 (ex-showroom Delhi). This new variant comes in three fresh colors: Matte Red, Matte Black, and Dark Matte Blue. The scooter retains its 125cc BS-VI compliant, air-cooled, fuel-injected hybrid engine. I think the new colors will definitely attract more buyers, especially those looking for a stylish and feature-packed scooter.

Yamaha Motor India has recalled over 3 lakh units of the Fascino 125 and RayZR 125 scooters manufactured between January 2022 and January 2024. This recall is aimed at addressing certain quality issues and ensuring customer safety. I believe this proactive step by Yamaha will help maintain customer trust and satisfaction.

The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid now features the Y-Connect Bluetooth app, which offers several convenient functions such as trip distance, battery voltage, average speed, last parked location, and malfunction notifications. This addition enhances the scooters connectivity and user experience. I think this feature will be a significant selling point, especially for tech-savvy riders.

Yamaha has hiked the prices of its Fascino 125 and Ray ZR 125 scooters in India. The price increase is part of a broader trend across the two-wheeler market due to rising production costs. Despite the price hike, the Fascino 125 remains a popular choice for its neo-retro design and reliable performance. I believe the price increase might affect sales slightly, but the scooters appeal will endure.

The Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid boasts a unique neo-retro design with curved flowing panels and several attractive color options. This design sets it apart from more conservatively styled competitors like the Suzuki Access 125 and Honda Activa 125. I think the Fascinos design is one of its strongest selling points, making it a head-turner on the roads.
