Hero Destini 125 Updates

Hero MotoCorp expects the 2024 Destini 125 to attract a higher price tag due to the significant upgrades, with an anticipated increase of Rs. 4,000-6,000 over the current model. The new scooter is positioned to compete strongly in the growing 125cc scooter market in India. I think the price hike is justified given the enhanced features and performance.

The new Destini 125 comes with several practical features, including a boot light, side stand engine cut-off, and a luggage hook rated for 3kg. The top-spec ZX+ variant includes bronze-finished chrome accents and machined alloy wheels, giving it a premium look. The scooters design now includes H-shaped LED DRLs and a projector headlamp, adding to its stylish appeal. I believe these additions will appeal to consumers looking for both style and functionality.

The 2024 Hero Destini 125 retains its 124.6cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine but has been fine-tuned for better refinement and fuel efficiency, claiming a best-in-class mileage of 59 kmpl. The scooter also features Heros i3s technology and an Integrated Braking System (IBS). The ride quality is notably improved, feeling pliant at low speeds and stable at higher speeds. I think the engine tweaks and new features make it a compelling choice for family commuters.

Hero MotoCorp has updated the Destini 125 with a revised chassis, including 12-inch wheels and a wider rear tire, which enhances handling and stability. The scooter also boasts a longer wheelbase and sharper rake angle to maintain agility. Additionally, it features an external fuel filler, USB charging port, and a generous 19-litre underseat storage. I believe these changes will significantly improve the riding experience.

The 2024 Hero Destini 125 has been fully revealed ahead of its launch, featuring a significant design overhaul with new LED headlight and taillight, a metal front fender, and side panels. The scooter will be available in three variants: VX, ZX, and ZX+, each with distinct features such as a front disc brake, bluetooth-enabled digital dash, and auto-cancelling indicators. I think these updates make the Destini 125 a strong contender in the 125cc scooter segment.
