Bajaj Avenger 220 return a max power of 19.03 at 8400 rpm with peak torque of 17.5 Nm at 7000 rpm.

The Bajaj Avenger 220 is actually an improved version of the old Avenger 180. Avenger 220 borrowed the engine from the Street Fighter 220 and the Pulsar 220, which is a  219.8 cc, four-stroke, air-cooled engine. The engine is matted with five-speed gearbox that performs smoothly. The bike features a digital twin spark ignition for efficient combustion. The bike is also equipped with the ExhausTEC system which improves torque without compromising anything at high or mid range revs.

One of the interesting feature of Bajaj Avenger 220 is the 3rd generation throttle ignition control system. This System allows the rider to control the ignition by operating the throttle. Unfortunately, this 154 kg weighted bike is not having a good fuel efficiency. Avenger 220 only returns 35 kmpl in city traffic and can push itself to deliver 43 kmpl while on highway.
