Yamaha XSR700 is a naked bike which is expected to be launched in 2 color options namely 'Garage Metal' and 'Forest Green'. If launched in India, it would carry a price tag of INR 7,50,000.  It follows the “Faster Sons” philosophy that led to a concept model manufactured by L.A.-based designer Shinya Kimura.

The 689 cc, 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-valves engine is able to produce a maximum power of 73.8 BHP @ 9,000 rpm and generates a maximum torque of 68.0 NM @ 6,500 rpm. The bore and stroke measures 80.0 mm and 68.6 mm respectively. It is paired with 6-speed manual gearbox. The braking duties have been handled by 282 mm dual disc at the front and 245 mm at the rear panel. The suspension work has been done by Telescopic forks at the front and Swingarm at the front.  

The naked fighter is being loaded with 14 litres fuel tank and 2.7 litres oil tank capacity. The dimensions of the bike are measured as 2075x1130x820mm and its kerb/wet weight stands at 186 kg. It offers a mileage of 23.1 kmpl. It has a ground clearance of 140mm and its wheelbase is 1405mm. The seat height is measured as 815mm. The 17-inch alloy tubeless tyres has been used in this bike where front tyre's size is 120/70 ZR 17M/C(58V) and the tyre size of rear is 80/55 ZR 17M/C(73V).
