If Yamaha made a 300cc version of the BW's, what would you want to see?

Let’s forget off road pretensions and make it a high performance urban scooter. Tune that 300cc engine for maximum smiles per gallon in the city, lower it, add sticky tires.
Which bike is better for Urban Adventures, the Yamaha BW’s 125 or the Honda ADV150?
10 January 2025 07:37
The BW's 125, I think, does a better job of capturing the urban adventure. The ADV150 feels like it’s trying too hard to be a ‘real’ adventure bike, while the ADV feels like a scrappy underdog punching above its own weight class.
What is the most ridiculous mod you've seen on a Yamaha BW's 125?
10 January 2025 07:37
I saw a BW's with a custom stretched frame, and that was the craziest mod I've seen. It looked more like a mini chopper scooter hybrid. Impractical as hell, but it’s definitely unique.
Is the Yamaha BW's 125 an 'adventure scooter' at all?
10 January 2025 07:37
I think it hits a good balance. The adventure styling isn’t just for show, but it’s not a hardcore off roader. Featuring a higher ground clearance and beefier suspension than your average scooter, it's better equipped for mixed terrain riding than most other electric scooters.
Why does BW have the 125's headlight design so funky?
10 January 2025 07:37
In fact, the dual headlight design is pretty functional. This helps you put more light on a wider spread so that you can spot obstacles at night or in low visibility conditions.
Is there any way to buy a Yamaha BW in India?
02 January 2023 06:34
Yamaha has no launch plans for its BW 125 in India. The automatic scooter comes with a 125 cc, air cooled and fuel injected engine producing 9 BHP and 9.6 NM of torque. The scooter gets a V-Belt automatic transmission and even comes with a 189 mm front disc brake. The best part of the scooter is the 120/70-12 and 130/70-12 tyre combo, providing it with excellent amounts of traction. It would have been launched for around INR 55,000 if ever planned for the Indian market.
