Is the TVS Raider 125 iGO too sporty of a riding position for a commuter?

The riding position is quite comfortable, I find. It’s not upright like a typical commuter, but it’s not aggressive like a sport bike. It's a good blend for city riding and weekend trips for me.

I rode it for a bit and I think it’s too sporty of a position for everyday use. After about 30 minutes in heavy traffic, my wrists start to ache. While it may look cool, it’s not really practical for long commutes.

I'm 6 feet tall and actually like the slightly sporty position. The more upright commuter feels more engaging than my old commuter and I'm not experiencing any comfort issues while longer rides.

I feel TVS missed the mark here. A sporty 125cc bike is not a good idea. Given their target market, they should have gone for a more relaxed riding position.

It was a bit of a learning curve but I appreciate the riding position now. The bike feels more stable at higher speeds than my previous bike, and isn't uncomfortable in the city once you've got used to it.

While it’s fine for short rides, the sporty position isn’t ideal for long trips. If only TVS built in adjustability to the handlebar so riders could find their sweet spot.

As a short rider, I think the position is a bit awkward. It's not bad, but I feel like I'm grabbing a little at the handle bars. A wider range of riders would have been better served by an more upright position.

I actually like the headlight design though. It’s cool to look at and different from other bikes. It’s also pretty well illuminated, better than on my old bike with halogen bulb.

If you ask me, it’s style over substance. I'm not sure it gives the best light spread, and the shape is weird. I would rather have a more traditional design that I know does well.

I’m starting to like the headlight. I thought at first it was for show, but it gives very good visibility at night. The only downside is that if it gets damaged, replacement might be expensive.

I feel TVS went too far off with design. On a commuter bike, it looks out of place and I'm worried about how this will age. In addition, I’ve heard some people complain about glare from oncoming traffic.

I ride a lot at night and I like the LED setup. Its unique shape actually makes it stand out to other drivers, and the light is bright and clear.

There is a little bit of polarizing headlight design, but I think it works. The functionality is there, and it gives the bike more of a feel of a premium. Nice to see some innovation in the commuter segment.

I don’t like the headlight. I feel TVS is trying too much to make the bike look sporty. For daily use I would just prefer something simpler and more functional.

I've kicked the torque boost a few times and it gives a noticeable kick when overtaking. It's not mind blowing, but it's a nice little extra when you need it.

I honestly think it's more of a gimmick. I can hardly tell the difference in real world riding. You don't turn the bike into a rocket or anything.

In city traffic, actually, the torque boost is pretty useful. When you need to quickly accelerate from a stop or merge into faster moving traffic, it helps. It's not just for show.

I don’t know if it helps that much. Yeah you get a little surge, but what difference is that going to make on a 125cc bike? That seems like unnecessary complexity to me.

As someone that rides in hills, I like the torque boost. That extra oomph when climbing is handy for a smaller engine bike.

It seems to me that TVS is on to something with this feature. It's not revolutionary, but it's a sign that they're thinking about how to improve performance in practical ways for commuter bikes.
