How does the Aprilia Tuono 660 perform on the daily commute compared to the Triumph Street Triple R?

For me, the Street Triple R wins by a narrow margin for its reliability. Triumph's track record for reliability is hard to beat, but Aprilia's are great.

It comes with a 675 cc, liquid-cooled, 12 valve, DOHC, in-line 3-cylinder engine producing 77.7 BHP @ 11,050 rpm and 57 Nm @ 8,375 rpm. The bike is very powerful and reaches a top speed of 220 kmph. It comes with twin front 310 mm floating disc brakes and a single rear 220 mm disc brake. The motor gets a 6-speed transmission.
