RS200 is good value for money. It may not be the best bike ever, but it’s a good bike for the price you pay. My friend bought it recently and I kind of liked it. Pros: - Good power output: You will not find a faster bike for this much money. This is the main reason for you to buy this bike. - Unique sporty looks: Maybe you don't like its looks very much, but it’s unique - Good Brakes Cons: - The build quality is not the best. At very high speeds you can hear some of the body parts rattling. However I believe the bike is safe to ride. - Below average customer service - A bit lower lifetime compared to the Japanese counterparts Overall, the bike is a good choice if you want a 200-250CC bike. Those people who tell you that it’s a waste of money are probably R15 or CBR fanboys.

For your college use, you can have the new Bajaj Pulsar RS200, which brings a lot more aggression and power than the Yamaha R15. It comes with twin projector headlamps and LED tail-light. The bike produces 24.2 BHP and 18.6 NM whereas the R15 stays at 16.8 BHP and 15 NM of torque. Both the bikes are liquid cooled and fuel injected, making them superior performers of their class. The RS200 comes with a bigger engine, bigger disc brakes, optional ABS and lot more excitement then the R15. It comes with a price tag of INR 1,18,000 for the non ABS version whereas the ABS version comes at INR 1,30,000. Both return an equal mileage figure, making RS200 a better choice.

I think R15 is better than Pulsar RS200 because the engine quality of Bajaj is not dependable at all but the engine and the looks of R15 is far better Bajaj Pulsar.

The Pulsar RS200 has better performance compared to the R15. So if you want a faster bike, go for the RS200. However, the build quality of the RS200 isn't that great. R15 has better build quality, better brakes and better handling around the corners. Looks of both bikes depends on the person, so I'll leave that up to you. So overall, I'll recommend buying the RS200 if you are okay with a slightly lesser build quality because it’s newer and more powerful/faster. You can also wait for the CS200, which is the naked version of the RS200. It looks better in my opinion and might be released before 2016.

I want to buy a bike under INR 100K, which one should I buy - Suzuki Gixxer SF, Yamaha or Bajaj Pulsar?
29 December 2022 05:56
Depends on what you want. If you want performance (i.e a fast bike) you should go for the Pulsar 200 NS. I don't really like its look but that depends on people. This (or the Pulsar AS200) is the fastest bike you will get below 1 Lakh. Pulsar 200NS is better than the Pulsar 220 in all regards. Suzuki Gixxer SF has no disc brakes. I personally do not like its looks either. So I don't recommend it. It also doesn't have a 6th gear and lacks performance compared to 200NS. Yamaha FZ is a reliable, popular ride that looks good and has good mileage. However it has less power compared to Pulsar 200NS. FZ should be the bike you should buy for daily use if you don't mind the considerably small power output.

Is the pillion seat of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 comfortable for ladies wearing saree?
29 December 2022 05:50
The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 comes with a saree guard for the rear. It makes it easy for a saree wearing lady to sit on the rear seat. The bike comes with a decent front seat height but rear seat height is quiet high for a comfortable ride. It is recommended to avoid sitting at the back with a saree as it will lead to an uncomfortable riding experience for the pillion. The bike produces 24.2 BHP and 18.6 NM of torque, which makes it more performance oriented than comfort oriented. You would have to drive the bike at slow speed as balancing the pillion at high speed can be dangerous for both riders. The bike comes with a price tag of INR 1,18,000.
