| UM Global Flash 125 is a hybrid 2 wheeler that uses motorcycle style tyres and scooter style body frame. The 125 cc, single cylinder engine is good for 8.72 BHP at 7700 rpm and 9 Nm at 6000 rpm. It comes with a 4-speed manual gearbox and weighs just 91 kg, without fuel. It comes with commuter level equipment like 70/90-17 front tyre, 80/90-17 rear tyre and conventional front forks. Flash 125 also carries a hydraulic disc brake for the front wheel. It may not be included in the list of products that will launch in India while its main market would be South Asian countries like Thailand, Singapore and Indonesia. | Peugeot Django 125 is a retro modern scooter that is powered by 125 cc engine. The group is planning to enter India through a partnership with Mahindra 2 wheelers. Django comes with a design that matches to the scooters that were sold few decades back while its list of equipment is nothing less than a modern commute. The 125 cc engine on the same is good for 10.05 BHP while it weighs 135 kg. It carries 8.2 liter fuel tank and rivals none other than Piaggio Vespa in the Indian market. It will be slotted at a premium point, most probably around the price tag of INR 90,000. | Mahindra Gusto 125 is one of the most feature loaded scooter available in the 125 cc segment, It is even the most affordable one with a price tag of INR 54,920 for the top spec model. Gusto 125 is powered by a 124.6 cc, single cylinder engine producing 8.5 BHP at 7000 rpm and 10 Nm at 5500 rpm. The scooter comes mated to an automatic gearbox and claims a top speed of 85 kmph. It uses a 6 liter fuel tank and weigh quite high at 123 kg. It comes with an option of seat height adjustment (735-770 mm) in the top spec variant.
