Vehicle Overview
Yamaha FZS Fi feels overpriced when compared to other 150cc segment bikes in India. It carries fuel injection and comes out to be the only bike with this technology around its price tag. It rivals Suzuki Gixxer and Honda CB Hornet 160R. The engine on the Yamaha FZS is ultra smooth 149cc unit producing 12.9 BHP and 12.8 Nm of torque.Yamaha FZ16 is currently the most affordable FZ series motorcycle in India. It carries carburetor fed 153cc engine, rivaling the likes of Suzuki Gixxer and Honda CB Hornet by technical specifications and equipment being used in all of them. Yamaha FZ even carries the most effective design out of all other naked bikes of India.Yamaha FZ-S Version 1.0 is a street bike that resembled a big section of Indian performance bikes on road few years back. The first version was not as sharp as the current version but still, an ideal street bike design is nothing different from the FZS version 1.0. It is powered by a 153cc, air cooled engine producing 13.8 BHP at 7500 rpm and 13.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. The gearbox used on the FZS is a 5-speed manual unit. It came equipped with a 267 mm front disc while the rear still remains 130 mm drum unit on the FZ series. It rivals Suzuki Gixxer and Bajaj Pulsar series in the Indian market.
Should You Buy It?
Only consider Yamaha FZS if you are a true Yamaha fan. It has the least amount of power among all others but still rides very planted and smooth in all conditions.NANA
