Aprilia Tuono 660 Updates

Aprilia has announced significant upgrades to the 2025 Tuono 660 Factory, including a power boost to 105 hp, thanks to new 52mm throttle bodies and modified exhaust headers. The bike also features upgraded Öhlins suspension and a new 5-inch TFT dash with enhanced rider aids like launch control. I think these changes will make the Tuono 660 Factory even more appealing to performance enthusiasts.

For the 2025 model year, Aprilia has streamlined the Tuono 660 range by discontinuing the base model and focusing on the higher-spec Tuono 660 Factory. This move is aimed at positioning the Tuono 660 more upmarket, with improvements in suspension, electronics, and overall performance. I believe this strategy will help Aprilia compete more effectively in the premium middleweight bike segment.

Aprilias Tuono 660 has been praised for its approachable and balanced ride, thanks to tweaks such as repositioned footpegs with rubber inserts and shorter final drive gearing for better acceleration. The bike also inherits many electronic rider aids from the RS 660, including cornering ABS and cruise control. I believe these features make the Tuono 660 an excellent option for both commuting and spirited riding in Indian conditions.

The Tuono 660 features a distinctive one-piece tubular handlebar that provides a more upright and comfortable riding position compared to the RS 660. This, combined with its smaller bikini fairing and trimmed-down side fairings, gives the Tuono 660 a unique visual identity. I think this design makes the bike more appealing to riders who prefer a naked bikes style without compromising on performance.

The 2024 Aprilia Tuono 660 is available in several color schemes, including Torque Red, Rush Grey, and Acid Gold, with prices starting at Rs. 8.33 lakh (approximately $10,499 USD). The upgraded Tuono 660 Factory version offers additional features like a fully adjustable Kayaba fork and Sachs rear shock, along with a six-axis IMU and quickshifter. I think the Tuono 660 offers a great balance of performance and comfort, making it a solid choice for Indian riders.
