Volkswagen Vento Trendline

Hi Guys, I go with all the reviews of the classic 500, I'v owned it since june 2011; However there are some questions I have with regard to the 500 1) The smoothness of the bike varies for time to time and ride to ride why? 2) again the bikes more smooth with 3+ ltrs of fuel when compared to on reserve thats about 3 ltrs? 3) Living in bangalore where the climate is moderate, the chrome on the bike seems to have small spots of rust? ..... guess theres lots of cost cutting with regard to profits RE wants to make.....: ) chrome job.. its just for the moment. 4)when it comes to the engine ... theres not a mm of difference in the 350 and 500? u can only know the difference by the EFI syestem and the 500 cc logo on it. ( Cannot comment coz i didnt ride the 350 cc classic .. however i feel that the older models ..350 standard has more of the raw power .. when compared to the 500 which is more filtered .. forget bout the high speed rides .. i,m talking bout 1st and 2nd Gear city limits.. ( when i rode the 350 standard i felt like the bikes taking me for a ride but no in case of the 500 ... dont know, but may be its psychological)... I'm a bike lover who needs some more love towards the classic 500.

I think that VW has seriously erred in addressing door locking issue. The doors do not lock from inside in the baseline model. This is a serious issue for those with small children. To make matters worse, they mis-sell this feature initially. If you write to the company, no response of any kind. Ostrich like attitude.

The vento by VW is a car which has many problems. Kindly check with any of the Vento Diesel owners and they will tell you. Cold Start problem in the morning ( The Engine sound is different and also the RPM meter raises up and down even with out accelerating). They say its a software problem but they are not able to rectify even after any updates. The ground clearance is not as good as they say it is , the back of the car hits the speed bumps near the diesel tank which is way below. The sound of the engine varies when you switch on and off the engine just like our old maruthi 800 which is old technology.

Hi all, I just got the car last friday on 14th oct 2011, it's a Highline petrol modle from modi motors at Uppal Hyderabad, got a great deal from them price 9.35 L free accessories worth 25000, and a full tank fuel. guys let me know if any one got a better deal than this, the car is simply great smooth, elegant, sexy and good looking, I own the new Honda city SMT aswell but when i compare both the cars vento is better now lets wait and see how is the over all performance of vento.

I have bought the Vento deisel Highline 6 months back which has your company tyres Apollo Acelere 185/60/R15 84T.I would like to say the tyres suck.After driving 20,000/ kms or so 3 of my tyres have got cut on the road and that too without any potholes.Strange but i have had no such horrible experience with JK and Michelin tubeless tyres.After i got myself 1 more brand new apollo tyre and then the 3rd one got cut I am convinced that there is something wrong with the tyres and not with the car.I would not recommend anybody to buy these tyres at all.Get Michelin oR JK.Vento as a car is awesome .Great pickup for a deisel car,Powerful AC and good control.The car is best when it comes to overtaking vehicles at a high speed of 100 kms or more without any fear.

But Apollo tyres Sucks.Dont ever buy them or you will repend as i have

Nice car in less price. The german technology is too good. In sedan this is good car. It is good choice for long tour. White colour suites this car.

To start with
1. no issues in getting the car delivered on time.thanks to the dealer,got it within 2 weeks (petrol version though)
2. though it doest look futuristic like a city...its got classy looking features that is unique an in no way inferior.again the built is muscular, specially the doors
3. solid interior quality with beige and chocolate brown color
4. though i havent driven a city,sx4 or linea...nothing to complain on the pickup,breaking
5. time will tell on the after sales service and maintenance cost

looks like A GREAT CAR OVERALL

Not at all satisfied with the service of VW.. I am having vento which got problem of radiator damage due to speed breaker hit. Ground clearance is not good in this car!! BUY AT UR OWN RISK !!!!
