Bought this car on July 22 2011, within a week the battery drained out, the stereo system malfunctioned, central locking could not accessed by remote. The 1st service technicians were not able to resolve any of these issues. The car over heated after 6 hours of driving, had to pull over and cool down for an hour. The 2nd gear does not engage at times, very sluggish response on the 4th, worse on the 5th. Have spend many aggravating hours with dealership and service center. Tata Motors has su--red this customer, but I hope other are aware of these issues with ev2 and Tata customer service.

I agreee with you Sagar.. I bought eV2 on 19 may and facing problem in company fitted music system which switch on and off automatically and even jumps from USB mode to FM mode .. so material used is worst in quality.. secondly service is vry vry poor.. at first service they even change my matting and replaced it with an old and used one and to morph it they  put a paper on it so one can not notice it easily... so guys 'Think Thrice' before you buy this product and if you had already bought this product check all your item before and after the service..

I agreee with you Sagar.. I bought eV2 on 19 may and facing problem in company fitted music system which switch on and off automatically and even jumps from USB mode to FM mode .. so material used is worst in quality.. secondly service is vry vry poor.. at first service they even change my matting and replaced it with an old and used one and to morph it they  put a paper on it so one can not notice it easily... so guys 'Think Thrice' before you buy this product and if you had already bought this product check all your item before and after the service..

BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!.
Bought Tata eV2 on April 29th 2011. Now my car is at Tata service center because of Failure of Clutch plates. Offcourse it does have warranty but the time I'm spending on new car for repairs is pathetic. I wish no body faces this issue.
When I bought the car on April 29th 2011 spedometer was't working. I ignored it to get it fix on 1st service and then cheap plastic under the bonnet melted. I informed showroom guys and they fixed the speedometer and say c't help with plastic burn. 4th of May 2011, Middle of the road at Afzalgunj area in Hyderabad my car halted. Reason being is Clutch plates are gone (meter reading was 110km meter reading was 48 KM when I took from showroom so drove around 55.
