Ford Figo has gr8 looks and is just perfect to be a family car. It has the sporty & trendy look which can attract any 1.The mileage is also gd but the concerning factor is spares & accesoris cost.

I have booked a titanium diesel.. sea gray... with alloys and fog lamps.. all set to b deliverd on monday!! wen i test drove, the only drawback i found which was d same for fiesta was, after shifting the 1st gear to 2nd, there is small time gap to get the power on d engine wen u plunge on the pedals.. its quiet disapointing though the time lag is les than that of 1sec. bt d moment u r done with that lag, d car boosts up speed v.quickly!!! the feeling is awesom!!

Very exciting to hear that it has the same motor of Fiesta which means great to drive with good mileage. But what about the service and spare costs? Are the present dealers ready to take up the volumes Figo is likely to generate?

I was looking for options for my first car in the common man's price section. I had almost decided upon the Beat. Now the Ford has got me all thinking. They have got the pricing absolutely right. The early ads priced the petrol variant in 4 lakhs and diesel was out of reach.

Now the diesel lower variants has hit the top of the chart for my preferred cars. All those space and economy and reliability within a common man's reach. I hear the petrol has not got the performance. But I hear great things about the diesel Duratec engine albeit it has been in market since 2005. But I hear the Figo performs poorly when gear it up on highways (for the occasional family holidays). Can someone let me know whether Figo is just a city car with great mileage and I will feel like a tortoise in highways.

I have some doubts regarding the performance of the car coz the weight of the car is 1100kg and car is producing only 70ps@6250rpm which is very low.. pls correct me if i m wrong..
