What is the Expected Price of Honda BR-V Compact SUV?

Honda BR-V is a 7 seater compact SUV which is expected to be priced around INR 9,50,000-11,00,000. It is expected to be launched @ 2016 Auto Expo in Delhi. It will be based on the same platform followed by Amaze, Brio and Mobilio. It would be launched in both petrol and diesel variants and is expected to be available in automatic version. It will specifically target the Asian market. It is the 3rd model to be manufactured by Honda R&D Asia Pacific Co., Ltd (HRAP).

The compact SUV would be powered by a 1498 cc DOHC i-DTEC engine which is expected to be generated by a maximum power of 98.6 Bhp @ 3600 rpm along with utmost torque of 200 Nm @ 1750 rpm. Honda BR-V is mated to 6-speed manual gearbox. It has disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear end. The suspension duties are handled by a McPherson Strut, Coil Spring at the front and Torsion beam axle, Coil Spring at the rear side. It has a solid and tough exterior, offers high ground clearance with large roof rails and alloy wheels. Skid guards, projector headlights and body cladding are the other features noticed in the sketches.

For the safety and comfort of the passenger, it comes packed with certain features such as vanity mirror, power steering, power windows, rear AC vents, reading lamp, rear seat belts, rear view camera, airbags, parking sensors and front seat belts.
