| Ford Ikon was a very successful sedan from Ford which was launched in 1998 and was discontinued back in 2011. It became Indian car of the year in 1999. Ford Ikon was relaunched in Diesel and CNG variants in 2008 as Ford Ikon Flair. The car comes with a 1597cc diesel engine which gives out a power of 92 bhp @ 5500 rpm and a maximum torque of 130 Nm @ 2500 rpm and runs on a 5 speed manual gearbox. Ford Ikon flair had a city mileage of 11 kmpl and highway mileage of 15 kmpl. The car had a boot space of 400 litres and a top speed of 160 kmph.
