The expected ex-showroom(Delhi) price of Harley Davidson Street 500 is Rs. 3,50,000 which may vary. Harley Davidson Street 500 is a stylish cruiser which is aimed for younger customers of emerging markets. It was unveiled in EICMS show in Milan in November 2013 and will be launched at 2014's Auto Expo in New Delhi, India. It is manufactured at their plants in Bawal, Haryana and Kansas City, Missouri and is available in Black and Red shades. The buyers can purchase this beauty in single variant only. Harley Davidson Street 500 has a larger wheelbase of 1511mm for smooth and comfortable ride.

It carries a stylish design and spectacular specifications which comprises an all black theme, rounded bikini fairing, blacked pullback handlebars, steel frame, feet-set-forward rider footrests, mini bullet turn signals, LED tail light, all black 2-into-1 exhaust, chrome accents, a muscular metal tank, alloy wheels with Michelin tyres of 17-inch at front and 15-inch at rear, 1511mm wheelbase, both digital and analogue instrument cluster. The bike weighs at 218kgs and has a single-caliper ventilated disk brakes at front and rear and superb suspension system (telescopic forks with smart reflectors at front side and dual shock absorbers euipped with rectangular section steel swing arms) at the rear side of the bike.

It is powered by a new and powerful 494cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 60-degrees V-twin Revolution X engine and has a 6-speed transmission with one-down and rest-up shift pattern. The engine releases a maximum power of 33.52 Bhp. The size of front tyres is 17 inch whereas rear tyre measures 15 inch. Royal Enfield Classic 500 is a main competitor of Street 500 and both the bikes are somewhat different from each other in terms of style, design and performance.
