Honda Activa vs Suzuki Access 125

Since both Honda and Suzuki came from the same country Japan. So the comparison in their products is a must. Today we have Honda Activa and Suzuki Access up for comparison. The Honda Activa is powered by the standard 110cc 4-stroke engine while Suzuki Access has 124cc 4 Stroke Air Cooled OHC engine. Also there is not much difference in power and torque outputs of both these scooter. Activa outputs 7.89bhp with 8.92 Nm of max torque while Access 125 churns out 8.58hpat 7,000rpm and 9.8Nm of peak torque at 5000rpm.

On braking power the Suzuki Access has 120mm drum bake on both wheels and Activa is equipped with 130mm drum brakes on both ends. Also both Honda Activa and Suzuki Access ride on same 90/100-10 tyres. In Activa the suspension features hydraulic damper at front and unit swing hydraulic damper at the rear end. On other hand Access has telescopic suspension up front and swing arm type down rear with coil spring and oil damped features.

Dimension wise Honda Activa has 1761 x 710 x 1147mm with ground clearance of about 145 mm. Suzuki Access is analyzed as 1780 x 650 x 1125 mm with 160mm of ground clearance. Honda Activa covers a 60 km distance in 10 seconds and can return a mileage of 54 kmpl. But in case of Suzuki Access it jumps to 6.56 seconds and a fuel efficiency of around 48 kmpl. Activa and Access has a fuel tank of size 5.3L and 6L respectively. The Honda Activa is available at INR 47188 while Suzuki Access is priced at INR 48,400 (both ex-showroom Delhi).
