The 2025 Tata Tigor has been updated with a new top-end variant, the XZ Plus Lux, which includes features like 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, front fog lamps, automatic headlamps, and a 360-degree camera system. The interior boasts a 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The XZ Plus Lux variant is priced at Rs. 8.50 lakh for the petrol and Rs. 9.50 lakh for the CNG version. I think these updates make the Tigor more competitive in the sub-compact sedan segment.

The base XM variant starts at Rs. 5.99 lakh, while the top-of-the-line XZ Plus Lux is priced at Rs. 9.50 lakh for the CNG model. The updates include a new 10.25-inch infotainment system and enhanced safety features like ESP and hill hold control.

The Tata Tigor is set to receive its second mid-lifecycle facelift in 2025. The updates are expected to be cosmetic and include new front and rear ends, headlamps, and tail-lamps, along with new interior features and upholstery. This facelift aims to keep the Tigor relevant amidst newer competition like the Maruti Dzire and Honda Amaze. I believe these updates are crucial for maintaining the Tigors market presence.

Tata Motors is evaluating a new platform for the next-generation Tiago and Tigor, which could be introduced by late 2026 or 2027. Until then, the current models will receive facelifts to stay competitive. The current platform of the Tigor dates back to the Indica hatchback, making a modern update necessary.
