Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Safari DiCOR Diesel LX 4x4 (2010) is a robust and capable SUV that has stood the test of time. Its 2.2-litre DiCOR engine, equipped with Variable Turbine Technology and Direct Injection Common Rail system, delivers impressive performance and sufficient torque, making it a favorite among adventure enthusiasts. The SUVs brawny build, high ground clearance of 205mm, and 4x4 capability ensure it can handle various terrains with ease. However, it does miss out on some modern features, and the cabin, while spacious, shows its age. Despite this, its old-school charm, brilliant ride quality, and off-road prowess make it a compelling choice for those who prioritize ruggedness and reliability over contemporary comforts.

Tata Safari DiCOR Diesel LX 4x4 (2010) Discussion
I think you dont have any choice. No SUV other is available at this price. moreover its the best of the bests. Proud to own safari.
I have bought a new safari LX which is value for money. It is my first suv and diesel vehicle. I think it is best Indian suv so far. Though after sales service is not good due to heavy rush. NEW DICOR engine is great.
I also own a tata safari dicor. It is an amazing SUV. It has the most dominating road presence. The drawbacks are the cheap qaulity interiors, otherwise it is a good value for money.
I am driving Tata Safari, 2008 model. I just love this vehicle.. It gives me immense pride that its an Indian SUV after all. But I do hope Tata will make changes to the present model... A 2.4 litre 175 Hosepower Engine would be ideal... And also I hope Tata relaunches its Sierra , first Indian 2 door sports SUV...
I think it is the best SUV in it's category.
