The sports VRS version of the Fabia returned with the 2010 facelift, available in both hatchback and estate variants. This model featured a 1.4-litre twin-charged petrol engine, producing 132 kW (180 PS), and was mated with a 7-speed DSG dual-clutch transmission. It was the fastest production Fabia at the time. I believe this added a nice performance edge to the Fabia lineup.

With the 2010 facelift, Skoda also updated the engine lineup for the Fabia. The new 1.2-litre TSI turbocharged petrol engines replaced the previous 1.4 and 1.6-litre MPI engines, improving fuel consumption and reducing CO2 emissions. The diesel engines were also updated to the common rail system and four-valve technology. This was a significant step towards making the Fabia more environmentally friendly.
