The 2024 Renault Triber RXZ variant, with its manual transmission, is priced at Rs 8.23 lakh (ex-showroom). This makes it an excellent value-for-money proposition for those looking for a seven-seater vehicle on a budget. I think the price point is very competitive in the Indian market.

The interior of the 2024 Renault Triber has seen some improvements, such as the addition of a six-way adjustable driver’s seat with an armrest, a new LED cabin lamp, and a rear seatbelt reminder now standard across all variants. However, the fit and finish of the interior could still be improved. I think the armrest is a particularly welcome addition for driver comfort.

The ride quality of the 2024 Renault Triber is commendable, especially considering it is a budget MPV. It handles bad roads well, though it can feel a bit bouncy when all seats are occupied. Overall, it provides a comfortable ride for most users.

Renault India has updated the 2024 Renault Triber with several new features, including a new Stealth Black paint scheme, a digital driver’s display, a driver’s armrest, and a wireless charging pad. However, there are no changes to the design, engine, or gearbox options. The Triber remains the most affordable seven-seater MPV in the market. I think these updates are a step in the right direction, but more significant changes would have made it more competitive.

The 2024 Renault Triber continues to be powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 70 bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque, available with either a five-speed manual or an AMT transmission. Many are still waiting for the 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine from the Kiger to be introduced in the Triber. I believe the turbo engine would significantly enhance the Tribers appeal.

Renault has added several safety features to the 2024 Triber, including four airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, TPMS, hill start assist, and a reverse parking camera with sensors. The Triber has a 4-star GNCAP rating for adults and 3-star for children. This emphasis on safety is a positive move for family-oriented buyers.

Despite the updates, the AMT transmission in the 2024 Renault Triber remains a weak point, being slow and unresponsive compared to competitors like Hyundai and Maruti. This is a significant drawback for those seeking a comfortable automatic driving experience.

Renault has emphasized the spacious and ultra-modular interiors of the 2024 Triber, with flexible seating modes and up to 625 litres of boot space. This makes it a practical choice for large families or those needing ample storage space. I believe the modular design is one of the Tribers strongest selling points.

The 2024 Renault Triber retains its exterior design, with no major changes apart from the new Stealth Black paint scheme. The dual-tone exteriors continue to give it a modern and attractive look. I think the design still holds up well despite being almost four years old.
