Front of this typical R3 comes with HID projector lights and flat headlight fairing that resembles R1M. The front visor was kept stock to keep aerodynamics untouched for maximum riding comfort. Side profile of the motorcycle reads Fiat, HP4 and R1M decals. Mechanical changes were avoided here but hydraulic brake master cylinder was installed for that typical superbike feel.
Fuel tank now comes with AGV and 46 branding over the stock blue shade. Yamaha R3 is powered by a 321cc, twin cylinder engine producing 42 PS at 10,750 rpm and 29.6 Nm at 9,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike looks huge with its impressive fairing while front fascia now feel more inclined towards liter class race bike segment.
Yamaha R3 weighs 173 kg in stock condition. Yamaha R3 can be bought in Racing Blue and Magma Black shade. It carries a 14 liter fuel tank and claims impressive 780 mm of seat height. Getting 110/70-17 front and 140/70-17 rear Metzeler Sportec M5 tyre as standard brings loads of grip to the new R3.
