India Yamaha Motor is starting the new financial year with a splash of vibrant colors and graphics across three of its leading models. As part of the Call of the Blue campaign, Yamaha has introduced these updates to the MT-15 V2, Fascino, and Ray ZR, enhancing their visual appeal without any mechanical changes.
2024 Yamaha MT-15 V2: New Colors
The MT-15 V2, Fascino, and Ray ZR, which are among the top-selling models in Yamaha's domestic lineup, now come in new color schemes and graphics. This refresh is aimed at keeping these models appealing and maintaining Yamaha's strong connection with its customers.
The MT-15 V2 DLX trim now features a new Cyber Green color scheme, adding to its existing palette of Dark Matte Blue, Metallic Black, Ice Fluo Vermillion, Racing Blue, and Metallic Black. Along with graphical updates, Yamaha has introduced a hazard function in the MT-15 V2 DLX model to enhance safety. Priced at Rs 1,72,700 (ex-showroom), this street fighter is powered by a 155cc, liquid-cooled, 4-valve engine delivering 18 hp and 14.1 Nm of torque.
Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid: A Splash of Cyan Blue
The Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid now comes in a new Cyan Blue color, joining its existing options of Metallic Black, Matte Red, Racing Blue, and Dark Matte Blue. Priced at Rs 91,430 for the Disc variant and Rs 85,030 for the Drum variant (ex-showroom), the scooter remains mechanically unchanged. It is powered by a 125cc, air-cooled, fuel-injected engine with a Hybrid Power Assist feature and offers features like LED lamps, a digital meter console with Y-Connect Bluetooth, an automatic start/stop feature, and a smart motor generator for improved fuel efficiency.
Yamaha Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid: Refreshed with New Colors
The Fascino 125 Fi Hybrid has also been updated with new color schemes, including Matte Copper, Metallic White, Cyan Blue, and Silver, alongside its existing colors of Dark Matte Blue, Cool Blue Metallic, and Vivid Red. Powered by a 125 cc air-cooled engine producing 8.2 hp at 6,500 rpm, the scooter offers a mileage of 68.75 kmpl. Its Drum and Disc variants are priced at Rs 91,130 and Rs 79,900 respectively (ex-showroom).
Earlier this year, Yamaha introduced a new color scheme for the 2024 Yamaha R25. The Midnight Star Purple color in Malaysia has been discontinued and replaced with a new Glacier White shade, accented with Cyan graphics across its headlamp cowl, front fender, side fairing, and fuel tank.
With these updates Yamaha aims to attract a younger segment of buyers and keep its models fresh and appealing in the competitive market.
