Engine on the R15 V3 comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with slipper clutch. Yamaha is using variable valve actuation, fuel injection and liquid cooling on their lightest sport machine. It has been spotted at various occasions in different shades and lacks the use of USD forks as the south Asian markets. It will have no direct rival till the arrival of Honda CBR150R in India and could get a price tag of around INR 1.20 lakh. It weighs just 169 kg, making it lighter than all other motorcycles of this segment.
