Ultraviolette F77: Insane EV Torque Pulls TWO Commercial Vehicles

While the quality of electric vehicles (EVs) has seen significant improvement, there's still ground to cover, requiring something truly extraordinary to convince us to part with our traditional Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) vehicles.  It shared by Narayan, one of Ultraviolette's founders, the Ultraviolette F77, an exceptional electric bike, pulls off a stunt that goes beyond the ordinary. The F77 isn't just towing a truck or a bus—it's towing both simultaneously. The sheer audacity of this act is highlighted by the fact that the combined weight of the truck and the bus is a staggering 15,000kg. To put this into perspective, the F77 itself weighs 207kg, meaning it's pulling a load approximately 72.5 times its weight. To humanize this feat, it's like an average person effortlessly hauling around 5075kg!

Unveiling the Extraordinary Feat

The Ultraviolette F77 is seen effortlessly towing a sizable truck and a bus, showcasing not only the raw power of its electric motor but also the engineering prowess behind this remarkable machine.

Breaking Down the Numbers

The numbers behind this feat are as impressive as the act itself. Towing 15,000kg is no small feat, and when you consider the F77's weight of 207kg, it becomes apparent that this is not a conventional electric bike. The power-to-weight ratio is off the charts, demonstrating the efficiency and sheer muscle of the electric motor integrated into the F77.

The Road Ahead for Ultraviolette

Ultraviolette's audacious stunt with the F77 is not just a momentary thrill but a strategic move to position themselves as pioneers in the EV landscape. Competitors will now have to step up their game to match the audacity and capabilities demonstrated by the F77. In towing a truck and bus, the Ultraviolette F77 has not only set a new benchmark but has also ignited a paradigm shift in how we perceive electric bikes.

This is also exciting for us enthusiasts because Ultraviolette is cooking up the F99, a bike that was unveiled at EICMA 2023. So if the F99 is robust, has proper battery tech and does everything that it promises on paper, it’d be one HECK of a bike to ride and would put many middleweight supersports to shame. For those curious, here’s how different the F99 is from the F77.

Most of us are already aware of the torquey nature of electric vehicles, delivering it right from get go. Electric two-wheeler manufacturer Ultraviolette's latest video further highlights the torque prowess of electric motors! The video, uploaded on social media by none other than Ultraviolette's co-founder Narayan Subramaniam, shows its F77 electric motorcycle pulling a truck and a bus together, all by itself!
For reference, the Ultraviolette F77Recon variant seen in the video has a peak power output of 39 hp, along with 95 Nm of peak torque. However, the twist was that the Cybertruck was actually tied to a trailer which was carrying another 911 on it! "Hold my beer," said Narayan, posting another video of the Tesla Cybertruck vs Porsche 911 drag race, which transitions to the Ultraviolette F77 pulling the truck and bus together.
