Exposing the Identity of the WRX
It was easy to identify the car as a WRX model from 2011 to 2014 because of its characteristic broad, boxy bodywork. These WRX versions were well-known for their aggressive styling which was similar to the STI models. They also came with a powerful 2.5-liter flat-four turbocharged engine, the EJ255 which produced 265 horsepower.
Challenges along the Path
It was not an elective choice to give up the WRX. When the car's previous owner experienced serious radiator challenges that caused the engine to stall. According to WD Detailing, this was a clear sign of upcoming overheating problems. Still, there were challenges ahead. After examining the vehicle more closely the team saw that the driver's side bumper had a large dent and the front bumper was barely holding on.
Bringing Back the Captured Motor
The actual range of the car's overlook was revealed during the attempt to start the engine. The starting made alarming noises, suggesting that the engine had obtained, and the oil gauge showed nothing but dryness. The Subaru EJ255 engine which was famous for problems including rod failures due to bearings and broken pistons, frequently had this problem.
