The second vehicle in the growing Toyota Crown worldwide series, an SUV named the Crown Sport, was unveiled by Toyota. This new SUV is the latest addition to the Crown series, giving the elegant sedan a fresh and different look. Notably, Toyota just added the Century SUV to its lineup of vehicles to go along with its sedan cousin.
Key Features of the Crown Sport SUV
The Crown Sport is a meticulously designed five-seat SUV initially targeted at the Japanese market. The availability of plug-in hybrid and hybrid powertrains, that provide environmentally friendly driving options, is one of this SUV's most notable characteristics. Measuring approximately five meters in length and with a roomy wheelbase of 2.7 meters, it achieves a sophisticated yet sensible balance. Inspired by the Crown sedan, the SUV's external design embodies the classic Toyota aesthetic while reflecting a dynamic, modern crossover image. Upon closer inspection, the body features strong haunches, sharp edges, and broad front and back fenders.
Stylish Exterior Design
The front of the Crown Sport showcases an eye-catching double-layered nose, housing the main headlamp unit within the bumper, and an eye-catching, horizontally stretched line that gracefully connects with C-shaped LED daytime running lamps. This distinctive styling is dubbed the "hammerhead shark look" by Toyota.
