ASUS has launched its first gaming console running Windows 11 in India, the ROG Ally. The console was announced in the country last month and went on a flash sale on Flipkart on July 7th.
The ASUS ROG Ally is a handheld gaming console with a 7-inch FHD IPS-level display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 7ms response time. It is powered by an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme 4nm processor. It comes with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 6400Mhz RAM and 512GB of PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 SSD storage.
It runs Windows 11 and supports a variety of games. The ROG Ally has a built-in controller with A B X Y buttons. It has D-pad, L & R Hall Effect analogue triggers, and L & R bumpers. There is a View button, Menu button, Command Center button, and an Armoury Crate button. It also includes two assignable grip buttons, two full-size analogue sticks with capacitive touch, and two thumbsticks. HD haptics and a 6-axis IMU are used for haptics.
It also has AI noise cancel tech and Hi-Res certification. The sound system consists of Dolby Atmos, a Built-in array mic, 2-speaker system with Smart Amplifier Tech. It has Wi-Fi 6E(802.11ax) (Triple band) 2×2, Bluetooth 5.2, and a 40WHrs, 4S1P, 4-cell Li-ion battery with 65W charger.
The ASUS ROG Ally is now available in India for Rs 69,990 for the Z1 Extreme version. The ROG Ally is available at ASUS Exclusive Stores, ASUS Eshop, and Flipkart.
