The 2024 ZX-6R is not just a bike; it's an evolution. Sporting a more aggressive look, the standout feature is its fresh face. The LED headlights have undergone a redesign, aligning the 6R more closely with the current-gen ZX-10R. The traditional digital-analog dash has been replaced by a new TFT dash, a standard feature in Kawasaki's recent models.
Smart Technology Integration
Adding a tech-savvy touch, the ZX-6R now boasts a TFT dash with Bluetooth connectivity. The introduction of four riding modes - Sport, Road, Rain, and a customizable Rider mode - brings a preset level of power and traction control, enhancing the overall riding experience. While the quickshifter remains, it's important to note that it is likely an upshift-only unit.
Under the Hood
The liquid-cooled, 636cc inline-four engine of the 2024 ZX-6R delivers a maximum power of 129hp at 13,000rpm and 69Nm of torque at 11,000rpm. Although there's a slight reduction in power compared to its predecessor, the 2024 model promises an exhilarating ride. The weight has increased to 198kg, a mere 2kg bump from its previous version.
Unchanged Foundations
The main frame, subframe, suspension, and braking components have been retained, ensuring stability and reliability. However, the tires have seen an upgrade, with the 2024 model now equipped with Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 rubber, replacing the Bridgestone S22 hoops.

Priced at Rs 11.09 lakh, the ZX-6R faces stiff competition, notably from the Street Triple RS priced at Rs 11.81 lakh. Positioned between the Z900 (Rs 9.29 lakh) and the Kawasaki Ninja 1000 SX (Rs 12.20 lakh) in Kawasaki's lineup, this dynamic bike is available in two striking colors - the iconic Kawasaki green or a sleek black and green option.
